Sure, it's silly, but also very charming. Lovely chorus with a screaming (and I guess pitch manipulated) McCluskey. This should have been a big hit, had it just been promoted more. It's simple, with its primitive drum machine beat, but that's what makes it so good! And that warm synthesizer line, perfectly synched with the bass guitar.
